Walk on the Water – The Fish Don’t Mind
Crustacean is all fusion all the time, applicable to both the cuisine and décor; French, Chinese and Vietnamese influences abound throughout the menu, on the walls, to the serpentine aquarium floor, even in the striking ensembles the wait staff wears. Seafood is truly amazing here, as you would expect given the name. The ambiance is elegant, while being simultaneously comforting - really, this place is just beautifully cool.

One of the dishes Crustacean is most famous for are their garlic noodles, and these are clearly designed to induce cravings at a later date, ensuring many return visits. These noodles are delicately infused with flavor - light, yet satisfying, delicious, and quite frankly, the stuff culinary dreams are made of. So secret is their recipe that they are prepared behind closed doors in the Secret Kitchen, a kitchen inside the main kitchen, off limits to employees, accessible only to members of the An family from whom the recipes were handed down. One bite and you will agree that yes, they really are that spectacular. Whether it is your first visit or it is your twentieth, it is hard to imagine not ordering a dish of these beauties.

Crustacean has been named as one of the top ten restaurants in the US, has frequent mentions in all the right foodie magazines, regularly serves up celebrity clientele and should definitely be on your must try list if you have never been; this place really does live up to its urban legend fuss. You will love it, guaranteed. And with gracious, attentive service, scrumptious one of a kind dishes and all that pretty to look at, what is not to love?
