Recently opened
and hot with a
side of sizzle
is STK, the
newest kid on
the La Cienega
restaurant row
block. STK is a
New York brand,
and hopes to
redefine the
American
steakhouse
experience here
in LA by losing
some of the
masculine vibe
that traditional
steak joints can
have, opting
instead for a
lively,
sophisticated,
sexy and very
happening spot
that
intermingles
good music,
style, fashion
and fun. All
that and a great
cut of beef.
Since it is LA
after all, beef
shares the menu
with signature
culinary
creations like
Shrimp Rice
Krispies and
Parmesan truffle
fries which do
make it snap,
crackle and pop.
You can get your
delicious steak
in three sizes,
petite, medium
and an oversized
34oz. With
the clientele
that is packing
the place every
night, you can
most likely have
your choice of
sizes there too.
Rumor has it,
the food is
actually very,
very good. The
chefs all have
fine pedigrees,
so we are
assuming they
know how to
cook. Two
stories comprise
the space, and
it is all
beautifully
designed with an
outdoor atrium
as the center
piece. The place
is way too many
good things,
with the
motto “not your
daddy’s
steakhouse”………but
I guess that
depends on who’s
your daddy?
