St.
Patrick’s Day 2008 |
Whether your name is
Mulligan, Milligan or Smith, everyone is
a touch Irish on March 17th and into
celebrating all that is green gold,
shamrock and luck related. This holiday
originated in Ireland, in remembrance of
Saint Patrick, the patron Saint of
Ireland, most known for driving the
snakes out of Ireland….though there is
some question as to whether there ever
were any snakes in Ireland. World wide,
for those who celebrate this day with
its intended meaning, as opposed to just
drinking green beer (not that there is
anything wrong with drinking green beer
mind you!), this is a traditional day
for spiritual renewal and offering
prayers for missionaries across the
globe who keep the spirit of St. Patrick
alive.

history of this much celebrated day,

surely satisfy your every Irish whim.
