If
you are

of a
certain
age,
such as
myself,
then you
may have
fond
memories
of the
1970’s
and 80’s
with
their
bad
fashion,
big
hair,
“classic”
sitcoms
and most
of all
the
music.
And if
you
didn’t
get a
chance
to see
some of
your
favorite
musical
artists
then
yesteryear’s
loss may
be this
weekends
gain
because
not just
one but
two
icons of
the 80’s
are
heading
to the
Greek.
Yes, the
soft
rock
sounds
of
REO
Speedwagon
will be
sharing
the
stage
with the
ambassador
of tough
love
herself,
Pat
Benatar.
REO
Speedwagon
was
formed
in the
late
60’s
when the
band
named
themselves
after
the
truck
they
used to
get from
one gig
to the
next in
those
very
early
days,
but it
was the
70’s and
early
80’s
that was
really
the
heyday
for the
group.
Selling
over 40
million
albums
and with
13 Top
40 hits
including
“Riding
the
Storm
Out”,
“Keep on
Loving
You” and
“Can’t
Fight
this
Feeling”
to name
a few
they
continue
to find
a new
generation
of fans
discovering
there is
more out
there
than
Lady
Gaga or
Justin
what’s-his-name.
Joining
REO is
Pat
Benatar,
the hard
rocker
with the
heart of
gold.
Her
music
has both
an edge
and a
softness
to it
much
like the
artist
herself.
From
“Love is
a
Battlefield”,
“Hit Me
with
Your
Best
Shot”,
“Heartbreaker”
and
“Invincible”
she lets
you know
you can
be
strong
and
protect
your
heart at
the same
time you
are
thinking
of
giving
it away.
And that
is a
lesson
everyone
needs to
learn
sometimes
no
matter
their
sex.
This
is the
second
tour for
these
two
diverse
artists
but
after
getting
together
in 1995
and
having a
great
time
doing
it, the
Speedwagon
and
Benatar
decided
the time
was
right to
do it
again.
So come
out for
an
evening
where
you will
be hit
with
their
best
shot and
still
won’t be
able to
fight
that
feeling.
